And just tonight, 100%ed Animal Well! ...at least as far as Steam is concerned. There's so much hidden content in this game it makes my head spin

But holy FUCK this game is good.

Off stream, 100%ed Cavern of Dreams! A cute, Rareware-inspired 3D platformer. Just a bit shy of 7 hours game time

A good and perfectly competent game in a niche already full of fantastic games like Corn Kidz 64, it doesn't quite do enough to set itself apart

Really enjoyed Aura: Fate of the Ages today! Lots of plebs (steam reviewers) complain that the game is obtuse and the puzzles are illogical, but so far at least, I really couldn't disagree more

They're not Cyan-level puzzles, but they have character and good internal logic

Riven: A remake that takes the plot beats and bones of the original and improves upon it in practically every metric. Puzzles are better (especially in that the leaps of logic in the OG are gone), the 3D presentation improves spatial awareness, and ties plot details up better IMHO

Alright everyone, now that I've beaten the Riven Remake, let me lay down where each remake stands versus the originals:

Myst: Refreshing with a little randomization for fans, overall neither a better or worse experience than Masterpiece Edition or RealMyst, just more accessible
