I suspect that they were deliberately understating it so the BASC, Countryside Alliance etc couldn't claim exaggeration. I note that he didn't mention the 10 million Red-legged Partridge.

What evidence do you have of people not being employed because they are trans? Where is the independent assessment, rather than social media anecdotal "evidence", if workplace discrimination? The head of an organisation I work with is male to female trans with no issues around the appointment

After my post yesterday about the RSPB, ZSL and BTO starting a study on Trichomonosis at feeding stations and the decline of Greenfinch since 2005, this morning I received this report from the BTO Breeding Bird Survey. Coincidence?

I appreciate what you are now saying, more importantly what you, ZSL & BTO are doing but the Trichomonosis outbreak in Finches started in 2005. Why hasn't any scientific body undertaken research into how it has spread until 21 years have passed?

I really wish I could turn off predictive text. It invariably gets it wrong, you correct it and it changes it back again unless you are very careful.

Unfortunately, the only decent day weatherwise this long weekend, I decided to be ill. Fortunately, the BTO and RSPB provided me with something to think about. Nice to know my feeding practices already conform to their new standards
