I saw him play in Fenway Park years ago. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. And long! He’s so generous with his time compared to others.

Several of us have this policy in our grad classes and agree the students are much more engaged during class. I think it gives them a reason to not feel they have to insanely multitask at all times.

I've been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, for "distinguished contributions to the field of neuroscience and neuropsychology particularly in the area of neurodegenerative diseases." Thanks to my great students and collaborators! I feel a like a celebrity.

Did Luzzatti write it, or Bisiach?

A great paper, required reading for my undergrad and grad neuropsych classes. The first time I went to Milan I posed in front of the Duomo in reverence. Noted the buildings to the right and left, crossed the piazza, turned to face the Duomo and did it again. (My family so loves traveling with me).

Go onto the roof of the Milan Duomo (cathedral), among the spires (get tix online ahead of time). Close by the Duomo is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II- the Camparino (home of Campari) is THE place for people watching. Also fun to walk along the canals with lots of cafes and restaurants.

Dr. Diaz-Santos does incredibly difficult, meaningful, and important work. She is also an excellent speaker.
