This plant is older than my child.

It's a Siam Tulip that my mil bought for us as a house warming gift while I was still pregnant. That was almost 5 years ago. Every years it makes a come back in April.

๐ŸŒฑ The beds are finally done! Seedlings transplanted and tons of seeds in the ground.

All thats left are a few pots and the grow towers.

I cant wait to put the shade cloth up because the sun is so brutal already. This summer is going to be horrendous, I can feel it.

The plan is to start my succession seeds this weekend and Shade cloth will be going up sometime in the next few weeks.

I'm so hopeful this season. The seedlings are coming up so fast and strong so far!

๐ŸŒฑ THE SEEDS ARE STARTING TO SPROUT!! Radishes, Peas, Spinach, and Amaranth are accounted for so far! Everything else has a much longer sprouting window.

Tomorrow will be a very heavy planting day for me, starts and seeds, pots and beds and bags. Might even so a peanut experiment this year.

The flowers are blooming like mad and I couldn't be happier.

I also did a second small harvest of carrots. 2.3 lbs this time.

Not done with outside but done with work in the garden specifically because the sun is to brutal for direct work.

๐ŸŒฑ Shifted around some of the soil from other beds that were to full to add new amendments to. Also added more compost and all thats left is mulch but the sun got to hot.

I have to replace the hose before I can plant anything but its so close to being ready!

I hung the new trellis net for the climbing aster and blue and white butterfly pea flowers. Put in place the bricks and boards to raises beds four and five. started foundation work to add the three new beds.

It is the start of the 2026 season! We started this garden in 2022 with two beds and have grown exponentially since then.

I'm working on adding height to two beds and adding three more small beds this spring.

Today, after picking up compost, I was able to weed the beds and clean up the space.
