It does seem to me the "dead internet theory" of bot-driven, bot (AI) produced crap content is a real problem. Seeking the early-2000's style social media is the task du jour.

Deleted my Instagram and Threads account. Rarely used them and the content was crap. Instagram was basically dumping soft core porn in my search page and random recommendations. Not really sure why it fixated its algorithm on that, but I have no need for it.

I wish more of those generator/battery appliances included it as a switch or something you can just flip. There must be some safety-related concerns why not (some modern ones e.g. Ecoflow Delta 3 series have a grid-sensing switch built in I think)

Mach-E owner now. Lovely car. (Don't mind the mirror covers, that's defense against the birds that love to perch, watch their reflection in the glass and poop all over the mirrors & window...)
