Such a tragic loss RIP Alex.

Narratives gotta narrate
Top of the table after a long break, title race alive, and back at the Emirates.
These restart matches often hinge on sharpness and atmosphere. This one feels quietly significant.

Thnk I will get back to writing this week. Just enjoying a brief respite not having to think up content.
How we feeling after that. Pretty controlled performance and the keeper make the saves when called upon
I felt that the Carabao and FA Cup were just viewed as opportunities but not significant focus for Arteta. I think the removal of Gabi was planned even before the knee knock on Sat. I think the match was more important to give minutes to returning players & rest to others.
It sucks we lost. It sucks we played poorly, especially in the 2H. I don't for one instant buy into the doom and gloom that permeated in some places after that. In fact I believe it will have a galvanizing effect.
I feel so much better not having been on the hell hole after yesterday
Arsenal’s recent record against City quietly changes the conversation around this final.
It's no longer an upset if they win. It feels like a genuine contest.

There’s a sense that this version of Arsenal is the end point of a long process.
Not just development, but accumulation.
Different influences, different lessons, now working together.
Curious if others see it the same way.

This week and especially last night felt like a shift.
Not just creating chances, but controlling where the game was played and when it mattered.
That’s different from earlier in the season. Here's 3 Things that Mattered from last night's match

I went for 2-1 us tonight.
Good to see you
Hello my friend
Scott I love this lineup graphic. Its clean and simple.
LFG!! UTA . . . Its Match Day
They are all beginning their walkbacks.
Arsenal had control in Germany. They just didn't turn it into enough real chances.
Second leg feels simple on paper, but the same issue will decide this tie if nothing changes.
Broke that down here in today's match preview.

Everton made Arsenal work for it. Deep block, long stretches of control, and patience required.
Then the late goals arrived.
Looking at what the match actually told us about Arteta’s side.

Everton arrive with a strong defensive record and a six-game unbeaten run away from home.
Arsenal arrive top of the league with one of the best home records in England.
That contrast makes this an interesting one.

Arsenal leave Leverkusen level in the tie, which is probably the the best thing about a night like that.
But the performance continues to raise a few interesting questions about our attack.
Three things from the first leg.

Champions League knockouts are back.
Arsenal head to Leverkusen with eight wins from eight in Europe and a real chance to set the tone for the tie.
This feels like the kind of night this group has been building toward.

In his post game? What'd I miss?
As part of next year's member's pack
All three goals from corners. Five-point lead intact.
Not the cleanest performance, but maybe one of the most telling.
Set pieces, Raya’s moments, and the part of our game that still needs sharpening.

Its a tale as old as time
Wolves coming to life in time for Tottenham to fall into the Relegation scrap . . .
I need something that makes sure I stay over here than at that other place.
My head is done in and its all my fault (yes, I've said all this before and I don't learn)
