For sure. It's also funny that both teams shot the same number.

He used to drive me nuts, but once you accepted his absurdity as commentator, he was glorious
And it was more a function of MIN adjusting than it was Denver choking. Just like last night's game.
Ok, that's a very funny wrinkle
Rudy Gobert knows you don't believe in him.
After stymying the best player in the world in a must-win game, and getting snubbed in the DPOY voting, Gobert is less interested in what others think of him than ever before.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez called on the European Union to end its Association Agreement with Israel on Sunday during a rally in Andalusia, saying a government that violates international law and European values 'cannot be our partner'
Eh, straight reporting from NYT & WSJ are still good (their editorial decisions are very bad though).
If you want the best coverage for global events, & you're willing to pay for it, the financial times is where it's at. Otherwise, my answer is that I have curated who I follow over 15 years
The other game was game 7 of the semifinals two years ago
Both games felt similar.
I wouldn't describe either game as "Denver blew a massive lead" though
Probably the best thing you can do to improve your media literacy is to just get in the habit of reading your news. Nightly news is bad. Cable news is worse. Short form video is an abomination.
As annoying as that announcing crew was at times, and as frustratingly self-congratulatory as they were about it, they were 100% right that MIN was not taking it to the rim enough. Once they did, that was it.
Oh, for sure. It was good analysis. I just found it annoying immediately, & resisted it as a reflex. lol
Bwahahahahhahahahahahhahahaha
Murray was on fire & MIN came out meh.
Bring back Starting Lineup figures and hire Scal to sell them
Every year I attend the world of concrete convention in Vegas. The two other conventions happening simultaneously every year:
The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo
The SHOT Show (gun convention)
It's a very fun week to guess who is going to what
It was an odd pairing. lol. Grady is so smooth & joyful. Scal is...the opposite. I think he'd be better with a different partner
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, GRADY
I did not know that Scal sounds so much like Jesse Ventura when he's on the mic doing color commentary.
I also didn't think I'd dislike someone doing color commentary & sounding like Jesse Ventura (maybe he just needs a different play by play guy. Idk)
Anyway, I learned those things last night
Last takeaway: most inconsistently called playoff game i've seen in a long time, & not in a way that benefited either team. It was completely unclear what a foul was by the end of the game.
I will be curious to see how DEN adjusts for the next game
Also, Jamal Murray started the game unsustainably hot. He cooled off
Yeah, if your takeaway last night was that Denver blew a 19 point lead, that's wrong.
MIN adjusted after the 1st. They had their offense go directly at Jokic, & DEN didn't have an answer. This tactic had the added benefit of gassing Jokic, & making him less efficient on offense as the game went on
I definitely noticed this last night. It's gone hand in hand with just a greater overall sense of urgency & playing with more intensity.
Wolves looked like they woke up last night. Good time of year for that to happen
Anyway, the cost of constructing basically anything has skyrocketed for a ton of reasons, but the steel tariffs are a big one.
And the US produces basically none of the stuff we're tariffing under those steel tariffs, except for steel itself. I can't express how ridiculous it all is.
And the way going at him like that absolutely gassed Jokic on the other end was huge. He missed a lot of shots he normally makes when not exhausted
No, it definitely is. And it's worse right now than it was in prior seasons
Steel tariffs, for example, include SOOOOOO MANY god damn things that you'd never imagine. And the costs are all getting passed on to the consumer at the end of the day.
