Getting a little freaked out about food supplies and the war with Iran, so I wrote a chill guide to prepping:

I hate this government. I hate my own helplessness. I hate how that helplessness can seem, in some lights, indistinguishable from complicity.
I thought about gym class the whole drive into work. Enjoying PE in MS really got me to branch out to participate in intermural and rec games when I am... not sporty. HS was a horrifying event of epic proportions and a lot of that was the awful contrast to how fun it HAD been.
Middle school is the only time I ever enjoyed PE. We were overcrowded so 2 classes ran at once. We were able to divide into the competitive and nots for each unit. I am not saying this is ideal way to run things but having the pressure off allowed me to have fun.
My dad and J's dad are both in the messy middle of this as well (though they ARE both in their 70s). It is obnoxiously frustrating and I am so sorry you are in it. Hoping for a successful finish, eventually.
Old job cabinets were client files by street address. Along with color coding cheat sheet it label with "space means nothing" (it meant for consistency all spaces were to be disregarded/ignored with next letter factoring in, but I always liked the existential pondering it provided)

Hi baby! Hi kitty! Is G's head losing the trademark Ravioli blockness, or is it just the angle?
What is the best “said the name of the movie out loud in the movie”
I have full comprehension of the dry hand / wet hand breading method. I even review it as a pep talk before starting. Every time. I have accepted my fate as a two gooey hands breader. Whatever. It gets the job done.
Whenever I type Jesus in texts it autocorrects to Jesse, which DOES make for some funny texts when I actually mean to type Jesus. (Surprisingly frequent commentary as nieces all went to Catholic preschool)

We still have some food struggles but in the past 6 months we have gone from thinking we had to suddenly say goodbye to our sweet girl to leading a far less stressful day-to-day life with some accommodations and I am forever grateful.
Amazing to watch her other senses compensate and she was becoming far more comfortable, but we suspected there was some improvement when we took her outside her familiar surroundings. I've never gotten to stay in the room for the eye tests before and it was pretty cool what they can do/interpret.
We did not expect any level of improvement so cannot be too hopeful more will come. We will never pursue a definitive diagnosis as it requires sedation (she struggles to metabolize anesthesia with her liver damage)
Another ophthalmology appointment for Kelsey where we received fabulous news. Upgraded from total blind dog to severe vision impaired. She has reactive pupils and her retinas are intact. Some level of peripheral sight. Initial SARDS diagnosis unlikely.

The most interesting Spring Election races in southeastern Wisconsin might just be these two mayoral contests in Waukesha County. www.therecombobulationarea.news/p/a-certain-...

My former boss has the same answer no matter what the question is. I have joked for 25 years that I could really mess with her life if she crossed me.
It was quite the weapon. I did have to eat sideways.
It's not great, but I did find a jumbo beer and a foot long corndog
My nieces use gizmo watches. I can gps track them and they can call approved contacts
I fit in kid socks (and prefer them for better fit) J laughed that I could get an 8-pack for on sale for $6.
We are going to Houston with 94% humidity. I am bringing all the tshirts and undies and he can kiss my ass at a capsule wardrobe.
J has poor time mgmt skills so I reminded him of our flight time tomorrow and that he has already purchased me a checked bag. He proceeded to send me a video on how to pack for any trip with 9 items of clothing. This capsule wardrobe included $95 wool tshirts.
I started left to right reading the essays so I had not gotten to Chelsea's Flowers essay yet when I left the first comment. WOW. Despite the warning I felt unprepared. Tears will not stop streaming down my face.
I personally think of Hey Jealousy as bittersweet memories of a failed relationship, not full on sadness. (Song on so many of my mixes!) I get context and why that line is singled out, but I'd also argue the best line is the next one "If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down."
Last time I was in I noticed they updated the signage to be 20 minutes and the signs are only within the exam rooms, not the waiting areas. Okay then.
Trying to avoid Target I thought okay fine I will just grab a single from the grocery store and pay a little more. Whatever. They wanted $7.49 for ONE stick. I pulled my travel deodorant out until I could get to Walgreens.
