The problem came yesterday when dozens of anti-democratic assholes decided I didn’t get to hear from MY congresswoman on ANYTHING bc they hate her & don’t believe she should get to speak. So then you don’t believe in democracy. You believe that only those you approve of should be heard & you alone get to decide that for everyone.
Believe it or not, AIPAC money is not everyone’s top voting issue. I know it’s become the myopic issue for progressives, but not all Dems are progressive.
We’d have to change legislation. But after this weekend, I wouldn’t be surprised if that didn’t happen.
