It is not outrageous for Canadian provinces to respond to a trade war (started in breach of our existing agreements) and threats of annexation with a targeted import limitation. Our government is run by bad people who are also bad at their jobs. Canadians are wholly right to retaliate as they did.

In their defense, ecologically sensitive land should be the last place for any human interference when there is plenty of the already built environment that could have renewables installed. But it’s a lot easier to destroy pristine nature (less cost) than negotiate w/ multiple urban property owners
