A social media post, posted on February 28th, 2018, that says: Did you know? Spike Drone's and Spike Soldier's oracle text creature types are "Spike Drone" and "Spike Soldier" respectively. However, poor Spike Rogue doesn't have the "Rogue" creature type in its oracle text.

Magic: the Gathering card Terminate from Planeshift. Cost: Red and Black. Instant. Destroy target creature. It can't be regenerated. Art depicts a dragon flying in the air being blasted by a fount of lava from a volcano. Another volcano billows smoke further back.

Unexpected (double?) Magic reference in Wyrmspan

Bolshack Arczeos NEX, a 5 cost light civilization Duel Masters card. It’s an armored dragon with “costs one less if you have an armored creature,” “blocker,” “double breaker,” “when this creature attacks you may put an armored creature on the field,” “when this creature leaves you may shieldify the top card of your deck,” and “escape”. Also it has 6500 power. Art is a super detailed armored dragon surrounded by light aligned magical energy.

Mechanically the exact same card but it’s two anime school girls interacting through a window. The one with dark hair has a headpiece that evokes the dragon’s helmet.

I think a key part of understanding the Duel Masters hole I’ve gone down is understanding is that the mascot card, Bolshack Dragon, has had many updates and iterations. Here’s one of the latest, as well as an alternate art that is, I want to be clear, the same card.
