Day 1 of the Liverpool University 2nd year Rural Planning field class to the Lake District National Park. Thanks to the LDNPA for opening up Brockhole for a presentation for us. It was a great introduction to the themes that we will be studying this week.
Another useful publication from GO-Science today which focuses on 8 key principles for public engagement with grid transformation. There are links to both academic and professional resources and I was particularly pleased to see my PhD research featured as a case study.

Very pleased to be part of a roundtable with the Govt. Chief Scientific Officer and the Minister for Climate. It is apparently the first time that social science experts have been invited to advise on public engagement with grid transformation. We’re hoping it will become the norm.
