We had an amazing Zoom with our KS backers last night, full of heartfelt stories, teasing of Tyrant's future, and love for comics & dinos from Stephen R. Bissette, Jim Rugg, and over 150 backers. We hope to do it again before the campaign's through.

Chart of love triangles in Berserk and Wicked. Elphaba = Guts, Fiyero = Casca, Glinda = Griffith. Caveat: Berserk doesn't have an ending (yet/ever). All three in each story love and (except Fiyero, I guess) are jealous of each other. Elphaba and Guts both run away, leaving the person they are physically attracted to and the one they're spiritually infatuated with. Glinda and Griffith both make questionable choices in terms of consent after Fiyero and Casca internally move on, the latter each having realized that their initial attraction to perfect specimens had become shockingly overshadowed. The couples who "end up together" are both permanently scarred as a result of Glinda/Griffith's betrayals in favor of personal gain. Perhaps because Glinda isn't the one who holds the Grimmerie (at least before these triangular issues are resolved), she does not end up going down Griffith's Behelit-empowered road (lucky Oz).

Every time I poop in public I remember seeing Spamalot on Broadway. During intermission, the bathroom was packed, and someone in a stall ripped the loudest fart imaginable. After a brief, reflexively polite moment of silence, everyone in the bathroom laughed & clapped earnestly as one. Good energy.

Shin Godzilla was one of my favorite movies in years but personally, Ultraman did very little for me. Given that I have no deep knowledge/nostalgia about Rider, either, my expectations are not super high.
