Top Chef sponcon has been over the top for years, but this week’s Cracker Barrel lovefest is one of the most awkward things I’ve ever seen. Blink twice if you need help, Kristen Kish

The difference between "checking in" and "kindly checking in," I think, is that in the former case you have annoyed someone and in the latter you have made them realize that they are a saint and you are a monster. (I am a frequent recipient of kind check-ins.)
I liked Baby Reindeer, as painful as it was, in large part because it exposed how shallow and uniform the stories that get championed for their "representation" of various oversimplified identities can be. But it's not something you can keep remaking for the rest of your career.
Kesha is very lucky she's earned the right to do whatever she wants
Divas gonna diva
There's nothing harder to review than an intelligent, well constructed, deeply sincere show that just doesn't land the way it was supposed to. That is how I felt about Richard Gadd's Half Man, which has some of the best performances and most breathtaking scenes in years but may not be worth the pain
Very into Debbie Harry's pick.
Something good on the level of The Onion/Infowars news needs to happen every Monday until morale improves
Maybe my brain is still broken from watching 3.5 seasons of Handmaid's Tale in 2 weeks, but these Quince dresses are really giving "Gilead glasnost"
Also, the show actually cuts to credits *before* we see something that Gemmill says happens in the episode—and imo it was a good choice to leave that moment out.
Obviously I adore The Pitt + respect the people who make it + care little about spoilers... but I cannot for the life of me understand why they'd set up so many well-thought-out cliffhangers just to resolve them in a post-finale interview.
(Don't click if you hate spoilers, obviously.)
Here's hoping the needle pokes are a temporary thing but the Pitt conversations never end
Of course! Just thought everyone oughta know
Fingers crossed for a full-fledged buddy arc in Season 3
Wrote about your friend and mine, Dr. Robby, who behaved pretty terribly for much of this season. Also, the requisite close read of that mid-credits sequence.
You really weren't far off!
Eat your heart out, Kim Cattrall
There's such a high bar, in horror, for "I can't believe this is a movie," but I got over it watching the trailer for this one.
I don't think so...
It is not that, but I don't think you'll be disappointed
Same! Counting down the minutes till 9pm ET
OK, I won't hedge. It really does change everything.
I'm only slightly exaggerating when I say it changes the whole meaning of the episode
I guess I should say right now that (spoiler alert) if you see Zendaya or Jacob Elordi or Sydney Sweeney... that's not it
PSA for tonight's Pitt finale: If you switch it off right when the credits hit, you're going to miss the best episode tag of the streaming era
Did we need a second season of Beef? Probably not. Is the one we got anyway less visceral and revelatory? Yeah. Is it still better than most TV? Also yes.
Margo's Got Money Troubles is an absolute delight time.com/article/2026...
All of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island look identical, as do all of their husbands, so it is impossible for me to tell who is hanging out with their spouse, who is cheating on their spouse, and who is gossiping about other people cheating on their spouse
At long last I have found the thing I care least about in the world, and it is this
Boy did she!
