Offered the option of unvarnished villainy, they enthusiastically took it. Seeing others suffer more made them feel big.

We must hold ourselves to the fundamental truth that sovereign nations are sovereign. We must respect and maintain rules-based order. Anything else will lead to chaos and another world war. Congress must act and act swiftly.

"It was the best attack on sovereignty..." is the punchline that will be used at Trump's trial at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later.
