If anyone on the left had done these things as President, the right would be simply rabid with fury and trying to remove him.

But when it’s their guy? Silence.

So the orange buffoon has:
- Created higher unemployment
- Increased inflation
- Been party to war crimes
- Actively assaulted health care for everyone
- Dismissed the idea that cost of living is too high
- Degraded female reporters
- and more!

What happens when a seasoned literary agent sits down and gets REAL about the industry?
Magic.
This week, we chat with Lissa Woodson, who shares what authors should know before querying — and what makes her say “yes.”

Tell Your Governor & State Legislators: Stop ICE's Fascist Kidnappings Text SIGN PZKHLQ to 50409 — I am reaching out today deeply disturbed and outraged by the escalating unconstitutional actions by ICE, which now amount to abduction, unlawful detention, and state-sanctioned human trafficking. These appalling acts undermine the core values of our democracy and pose a grave threat to human rights and dignity. Yesterday in Worcester, Massachusetts, we witnessed an egregious example of unchecked brutality. A mother was forcibly seized by agents claiming to be from ICE—who provided no identification, wore masks, and carried no warrants. Her terrified 16-year-old daughter was brutally assaulted by local police, her face violently forced into the pavement while pleading for answers. This flagrant abuse violates constitutional protections, due process, and basic humanity. Equally alarming is ICE's recent arrest of the Mayor of Newark, NJ, solely for exercising his constitutional rights to free speech and peaceful assembly. These authoritarian measures are starkly reminiscent of oppressive regimes, actions fundamentally opposed to the principles of freedom and justice we cherish. Immigrants are foundational to our nation's identity and prosperity. Without the invaluable contributions of generations who journeyed here seeking safety and opportunity, America would cease to be the diverse and dynamic society it is today. Yet, we are rapidly devolving into a state that tolerates fascist tactics, alienating our allies and tarnishing our global standing. We urge you to take immediate, decisive action. Publicly condemn these unconstitutional practices, push for state-level legislation to protect immigrant rights, and employ every available legal avenue to resist these human rights abuses. Mobilize your community, use your leadership to unify and galvanize collective resistance to cruelty and injustice. History and your constituents implore you to act now—before it is too late.

🖋️ “Tell Your Governor & State Legislators: Stop ICE's Fascist Kidnappings” hit 100 signers!

A democratic Jewish governor is attacked on Passover and the White House and Press are silent.

The president held a sales pitch for Teslas outside the White House but has nothing to say on this. No coincidence, given his base are behind the attack.

The fascists are doing exactly what they told us they’d do in their Project2025 list of destruction & cruelty so it seems smart to assume they’re also going to come after my LGBTQ+ family & the romance novels I write for a living. My vow: Over my dead body! 🏳️‍🌈❤️😡 Learn how to fight back👇🏼

I’m so very sorry, Adam. I know this pain all to well and the feeling of betrayal that comes with it. I know it’s cliche, but time does heal this. My outcome turned out to be the best thing to have happened to me. I hope it is for you, too.
