This whole thing definitely started before Trump won the election but several factors are making it come to a head now. I assume we'll keep hearing more and more about what the reasonings were. But on it's face it was the $250.

Well, Freeland was more mad above the proposed $250 cheques that Trudeau wanted to send out. I don't know how much it does or doesn't have to do with Trump at all. The Liberals have been imploding for a year+ at this point.
