Recent lawsuits are making these desirable to those who don't understand how catastrophic these bills are. We need to keep pushing and informing our reps to make them as unfavorable as possible.
Although there hasn't been any news of late, it's still important to contact reps about the dangers of KOSA, the KIDS Act, SCREEN, and other AV laws wherever possible, as well as demanding for the protection of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.

H.R. 8250 is MUCH WORSE than KOSA because it's at the OS level. You will have to submit your own PII, probably including biometric data…

Hey seriously, literally in the bills it says they'll also use identifying information, such as your age data for "other purposes". That means your data goes into a government surveillance database. This would be for ANY *OS*, which is the thing your fucking PC runs off of.

It's called the "Parents Decide Act" But the thing is...parents already decide! Parents can make rules that their kids have to abide and it is within a parent's ability to enforce those rules without the help of invasive legislation.
