What a great night to catch up with fellow game developers. We probably had close to 200 game developers meet up Friday night for drinks, food, a bit of social games and prizes, and good craic.

Hey folks, my husband possibly left or had his Steamdeck robbed on the L89 #Dublin Bus. The bus left Broombridge around 15.50 (the SD is at least password locked). If anyone knows anything let us know.

Some of our members in Game Workers Unite Ireland were in Paris for a union summit today and joined the STJV and other European game worker unions for a solidarity protest outside Take Two offices.
The blatant union busting firing of the Rockstar 31 workers can not stand. Reinstate them now!

i think one of my biggest problems with genAI is that it's not empowering. in fact it's doing the opposite of them; it's removing critical thought and essentially taking power from us. our brains are so valuable, why would we want to lose that?
