if it came out I was saying that, it's definitely not what I meant. I'm with you on this - class status is transient (my partner disagrees, even to generations). I was trying to express that more people are middle-class now, not less, IMHO, and therefore money-grubbing by their actions and moral set

oh I don't know about that. Middle classes all smell aspirational and obsess on having more money / don't want to pay tax. It feels like there's plenty enough of them, and that! More people are more poor, but nor does that alone make them working class instead. It's all self, self, self - so, Right!

The funny little "Bye Bye" I included at the end got cut off the audio here, and the cloth-minded tech spelled it out as "bye" all the way through anyway, so now it seems like just aggressive shilling and no longer works so well - but it's what I have. So here you go! I tried! <sigh> X
