These bots are the GOP fantasy of what women are supposed to be like

I feel like there’s probably some overlap between the people who create and are attracted to these fake women and the people who buy blow up dolls. They’re just digital versions of the same thing

I would like to point out that this child prodigy would be covered by "DEI" in at least three different ways: she's a girl, she's neurodivergent, and she's hispanic.
Fuck MAGA and fuck white supremacy

The purpose of education is not to earn more $$. The purpose of education is to create and disseminate knowledge, develop talent, serve society's needs, & foster personal growth. Increased earnings are often a side effect of all that, but what you earn depends on how much society values what you do.

Speaking as an American, why the actual F… would anyone advocate for the utterly crap healthcare system we have?

1. A lot of our elections are structured to over-represent rural parts of the country, which tend to be evangelical Christian nationalist 2) Republicans started defunding public education in the 80s which has resulted in 2 generations of really dumb people 3) The Epstein class controls our media

Is it me, or does Bisignano sound drunk?

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford. It’s about priorities.

Leftists genuinely don’t see the difference between Biden’s policies (plural!) on Israel and the blank check Trump gives them. Admittedly, it’s the difference between pumping the brakes before you hit a wall and flooring it. Both options suck, but you’re chances of surviving are better with Biden

France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.

Equals 10 nuclear reactors
Reduces heat island, shades cars

The US -- 800 million parking spaces. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.

Why aren't we doing this?

Wait’ll you hear what Donald Trump says about his Jesus picture. No matter what you guess…You’ll be wrong. 😂

Seriously. He’s lost his mind.

Animals don't fear death the way we do. They're afraid of other things: Being abandoned. Being alone. They don't expect to live forever. They just want to know you will be there, no matter what. And someday, when you're ready, she'll send you another dog who will need you as much as you need them.

Attacking the Pope and depicting himself as Jesus.

Imagine their reaction if Obama did this.

Whatever you do, don’t look at the Lindt & Sprüngli website where you can mailorder Swiss chocolate in bulk. www.lindtusa.com

Or…this area didn’t get electricity until the federal govt forced power companies to provide it/created coops that still serve the area. The same with high speed internet. It will probably take govt involvement again to put charging stations in

Thank you. That’s just not enough range for my situation. I would need to recharge at some point during the day. I’ve got a pretty good chance of finding fried catfish at a country gas station but not a shot in hell of finding a charging station

I have been trying to get a handle on what a typical EV’s range really is. Even the sales websites are saying ~125 miles for EVs in my price range. What has your experience been?

This the piece that people outside the US miss: in order to complete the coup, he needs an excuse to declare martial law. He’s doing everything he can to provoke unrest. So far, it hasn’t worked.

The myth that business is more efficient or more productive than government or non-profits is absolute horseshit. In my experience, corporate types are too whiny and spoiled to handle mission-driven work.

Even leaving the Obamas out of it, if we focus on upgrading our energy infrastructure, the entire middle east could go fuck itself

EVs still aren’t viable in rural areas. I visit hospice patients in a rural, mountainous area. I drive ~100 miles per day, 2-3 days per week. There are very few charging stations and adding one to my house is at least $1k.

Denmark didn’t “transition” its grid—it replaced it.

~15% → 92% renewable electricity in 25 years.

Wind did the heavy lifting. Solar is scaling. Interconnection balanced. Flexibility solved variability.

Wind built it. Solar is scaling. Fossil lost it.

This IS system replacement. ⚡#Bettrification

I think it's important to acknowledge that it isn't actually up to the US whether or not another country gets a nuclear weapon.
