Scotland was already down to 1 regional transport streams, now more London network areas will be. Something we will have to keep an eye on as tracking regional changes is complicated.
Freely wasn't supposed to have timeshift channels, Dave Ja Vu is a bit weird. The other Discovery channels are supposed to be coming to IP Freely but haven't indicated when.
Perhaps the local channel removals are part of a master plan to reduce the number of regional transport streams from 2 to 1.
Issuing new channel numbers in an active range, to the Channel Update slates, seems odd. They could have been given internal 4 digit numbers until they are needed again.
I don't know. Perhaps the "must carry" regulations have changed. That was dubious anyway as not all local channels in cabled areas were on Virgin. That or a big increase in carriage costs.
The blog has now been updated with changes for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

In rebrand news...
Virgin has actioned the temporary rebrand of Sky Cinema Hits to Sky Fun. (Having not actioned its previous rebrand to Middle Earth.)
So, it's hit and miss at the moment with rebrands being actioned seemingly on a whim.
Damien is back today so can start working on the Horizon data.
The addition of subscription code records to Panjab TV had an unsafe duplicate. Unsafe means it isn't an exact duplicate. In this case one record carries the Asian Mela pack code, the other record does not have any subscription codes. Hopefully, Virgin TV will sort this out before launch.
Friday's Sky Cinema rebrand may actually be a long term rebrand of Sky Cinema Select to Sky Adventure, so the temporary rebrands may not be back. One to watch.
Saturday's temporary rebrand hasn't been actioned by Virgin TV.
Sky Atlantic has had the PIN flag activated for out of hours watershed content.
As for the temporary rebrands...

The blog has been updated with Wednesday to Friday's changes.
Other than those mentioned already, there are further changes to Panjab TV's pre-launch configuration.
And the return of temporary rebrands as Virgin TV has renamed a movie channel for a promotional rebrand.

Wednesday's changes:
Panjab TV pre-launch configuration added to channel 839. Not yet added to any networks, not even those used for pre-launch configs.
Housekeeping changes to pre-launch FAST channels 8 Out of 10 Cats (250) and Pointless (251). It now appears that these will be available on the V6.
The blog will be updated on Friday.
We've had a few issues this week and have been without functioning email for much of it. A workaround is now in place.
We didn't find out about Wednesday's changes until today due to a bounced email. Sorry!
The blog has been updated with yesterday's changes as far as possible.

Horizon data has been checked for Sky Atlantic & On Demand Streaming. Ex-NTL regions still have to be checked (we don't get that information from the overnight analysis).
Yesterday's plans to get third party analysts to deal with the Horizon data fell by the wayside. Unfortunately they experienced a total failure of their email platform and had to refocus their efforts on providing a replacement service.
The analysis will still be done, it will just take longer.
Correction - On Demand Streaming (Ch 206) is NOT hidden from V6 devices, only legacy TiVos.
Sky Atlantic remains hidden from both.
Today's changes are summarised below. There are also some changes to hide flags for some regional channels.
Blog updates await Horizon data. Unfortunately Damien isn't available to analyse this at the moment so this will be referred to our third party analysts. The blog will be updated ASAP.
