The worms got another nice feeding today of ground egg shells and frozen rotting vegetables. In the first pic, I dug a hole into the center. Feels like all castings down there. I also pulled up a bunch of baby worms! 🪱 #gardening

I just find the DSA to be a divisive organization that is all-or-nothing when it comes to their political platforms. But, that could be specific to Massachusetts.

That’s a fair question and, in some senses, I admire Calla’s stances towards US aggression. This Iran war is another case of boosting defense contracts instead of things like education & housing. My beef is more with the Boston DSA, but that could be a bit nuanced if you’re not based in this area.

And just to be clear—as I’ve always said—I’m not against socialism. I’m actually a firm anti-capitalist. What I can’t take, though, is the fakeness of our politicians and their endless need to have their egos massaged. 🤢

In all fairness, the @nytimes.com also fell for the story of this DSA and @edmarkey.bsky.social campaign organizer hook line and sinker.

I’m all for the ‘No Kings’ protest. But, having politicians speak at the rally really makes it lose its credibility for me. It’s just another opportunity for them to pat themselves on the back and pull the whole: ‘Trump bad, me good’ song and dance. No thanks.

The Black Hungarian Peppers are really popping (indoors). According to Google, it’s best to harvest these peppers when they are a deep, dark red. I’m not positive what that will actually look like, but I guess I’ll wait and see! 🤷‍♂️😆 #gardening
