Finished a painting today

Been trying to get back into making physicals

We live in a dystopian hellscape where corporations convince governments they are more “human” than you or I,

so those with power to be more “human” fear losing it so deeply,

they would rather kill than share an untaxed penny they’ll never spend.

I do not enjoy feeling like I must hide my depression from the internet

Humanity’s obsession with leaving our mark on this world has left it scarred beyond recognition, littered with falsehoods and corruption

And yet I cling to the hope that the tainted roots that need trimmed, will be so, and new growth shall come forth
