I don't know about the market, but I'd want you.

This is why I unsubscribed from your paper. Shame on you NYT, trans people all over the world are harmed because of your misreporting on our lives.
While I agree with your larger point, I want to add that the argument against trans inclusion in sports makes sense only for those of us who transitioned as adults. Trans kids and teens who go through puberty blockers have no advantage over their cis peers and shouldn't be discriminated.
1908: the Lancet, one of the most respected scientific journals, calls for 18 age limit on reading in bed amidst a moral panic surrounding children becoming "addicted" to novels, which were "designed to keep kids hooked" and destroy their attention/mental health
Also.
I love your art, I have supported you in the past and would do so again if my finances were not shit atm. It's a freaking shame when such talented people struggle.
An excellent thread on the subject
I recently got laid off, so unfortunately I am short on money. I will still try to give a little, because after years of enjoying your work it's the least I could do. Great success Winton, you fully deserve it.
Your last meme saved is your moral philosophy
As a young-ish artist in the early stages of her path, I have a question: what wouls you consider proper and efficient use of reference?
I am currently playing through Her Love, Like Poison and it is pretty awesome. So cool I wish I had done it myself, especially the art. Suffer under the weight of admiration miss artist!
recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence lies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't. By magicmosshka, yesterday's
the discourse on what jobs are acceptable to replace with generative AI reveals a lot about what we think of other people's jobs
I don't support what the Trump regime is doing. Judging from her clarification, neither does Applebaum. I think she is simply saying what may be the least horrible outcome of this illegal overthrow.
Thank for clarifying. Everyone is upset right now and quick to negatively interpret everything.
Repulsive behavior by the USA. I am ashamed to partially be an American.
You are killing me softly, killing meeeeeee~~~
It was a really cool video and I am happy I discovered your channel thanks to it. As for the commemoration, how about a video on favorite 90s albums? Or some appreciation for visual artists working in metal? Or some of your favorite memories fr9m the concertw you've been to?
"too bad these games are very mid and nobody knows them"
Hey now, the first one was pretty cool as I remember. And I am sure there is still a cult following that wants them re-released.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 999:
Itβs not just the story that matters, itβs the person telling it. Your stories are filtered through your experience, your culture, your upbringing, your identity. Donβt be afraid to let it show. Those things matter. You matter.
"How badly a cartoon character gets treated isn't the problem, the problem is that people might be jacking off to impure thoughts" literally who gives a shit you insufferable god-fearing fucking wimp go back to the kids' table
I am afraid that for many people, it's not even a matter of not understanding. If something makes them feel uncomfortable or grossed out, they want it gone. It's authoritarian behavior, the exact opposite of "live and let live."
Your lineart hits the spot every time!
One thing that is really fun about enjoying underground/niche art is that it brings one in contact with new people, new discussions and inspiration. Being a little cringe is a worthy price for such a cool experience.
I saw a few illustrations with this cute silly speech bubble added in, so for anyone else who would want to know, this artist is the one who drew it/has been using it in her own works before All This started up (the link is for a real sticker from her shop!)
Can artists use your pictures as references?
Painting this piece brought back my appetite for body horror and earthly hues.
I assume that mindset is an effort to counter the older stereotype of metalheads as aggressive, hateful and anti-social people with no morals. I think it works for most metal fans but, like you said, there's many folks who are the complete opposite of accepting, especially in specific sub-genres.
