Only five star madras and vindaloo in this house!
And an extra large supply of toilet roll...
They do - comes in ground, but haven't seen it in Bean form yet...
The Fuji Mountain falls into that - rich and dark and a caffeine hit like a punch in the face. Not too acidic and a little bitter.
House blend is similar but smoother mouth feel and less bitter.
No Man's Sky is a game that's been on my to buy list for a while...
I've picked up Pokopia, which is great as a combo of Pokemon, Minecraft and Animal Crossing cosyness. Plus I'm eyeing up Pragmata which has just been released to excellent reviews.
I'll be interested to see how Oblivion and FFVII: Remake perform on it when they're released.
So, picking up a Switch 2 gives me a console back, while letting her have my original OLED model, and now we can play Animal Crossing together and help each other out with out islands. And, I get access to the next generation of games. It's a win-win!
The Switch has been a game changer console in our house, mainly for the ability to use it like a regular console but also as a handheld system. We've recently been hoovering up the best games for it, which led to my wife becoming addicted to Animal Crossing (after at first poo pooing it)...
A Switch 2 console in its dock.
Brought home a new child at the weekend. I'll make sure to play with them every day...
A bag of Ueshima Fuji Mountain coffee and a Hario V20 drip filter making some sweet, sweet caffeine...
I've recently started drinking Ueshima coffee and got hooked on their Fuji Mountain. But yesterday they were on sale, so I also picked up a bag of their house blend and boy oh boy is it good...
Agree with you about the moments of silence and how they are used for significant emphasis. The opening is a real good example of that.
Love Commander as a format. Got me back into Magic when I was running my local store. Ended up with about 12-14 decks! It's a slippery slope!
Really sorry to hear you're going through a rough time of it at the moment, Fabio. Very sad to hear about Pepper - my sympathies.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
Yeah, it cost £12.50 a ticket at the Odeon Luxe in Durham and we got recliner seats...
It was great though. Beat seeing Princess Mononoke at the IMAX last year (which was also fantastic to see on the big(gest) screen).
I certainly noticed at Durham that the audience was 80% people in their 40s+ who either saw this around its original release or else got into anime through it on VHS...
100%. Insidently, Akira was the first VHS I ever bought myself. My first DVD was Ghost in the Shell.
Oh, I already have the collectors edition boxed set of hard covers and the Club Akira art book 😉. Amazing stuff.
Big hugs, mate! Take care of yourself!
I was watching it at the ODEON in Durham, so probably not 😁 But it has a weekend release across most of the country I think for its rerelease in 4K.
It was a bit good wasn't it!
Yes.
Grave of the Fireflies - saddest film I've ever watched.
See Akira on the big screen last night. It was everything I wanted from one of my favourite anime films and more. Visually stunning in 4K and the audio is unbelievable compared to home video. I've watched it dozens of times and I could still pick out details I hadn't seen or heard before.
As someone who looked at how things like this affected and led to the last glacial, this isn't terrifying at all...

Sorry to hear about your loss, Ellie. My sympathies to you and your family.
