Reminded me of our chats

I just had a video interview by an AI and I'm ashamed to say it was one of the more pleasant conversations I've had in a while.
Well, Mr "Cockfoster", if that is indeed your real name, if someone shits on your lawn daily for months, then one day stops and doesn't shit on your lawn for many weeks after that, are you just going to forget that that motherfucker used to shit on your lawn and pretend everything is now cool?
So is Coachella now Influencer Prom?
On this day in 1968, Pierre Trudeau was sworn in as the 15th Prime Minister of Canada. And this was a good thing.

Note that Greece and Bulgaria are "advanced economies" but China, Poland, and India are not. Your reminder that all rankings are only as good as their criteria.

Why is Wealthsimple so much better than every other online tax software?
TIL Natalie Portman's partner is named Tanguy Destable... which is exactly how some people have described me. More unstable than destable, though.
Hmm
I threaten him with this weekly.
Dealing with a German freelancer on Fiverr. The harsh directness is a bit off-putting, but I appreciate the efficiency. I can't read her messages without hearing the German accent.
After much observation, I am confident in reporting that my 16-year old French poodle only seems to get an erection in the presence of much younger male dogs. That's right, my dog is an old queen. Not surprising considering how fabulous he is.
I like my tea angle how I like my attitude in general: obtuse.
It's his fetish
I'm so proud that I get that joke.
We sent the dog to stay with my in-laws for a couple of days.
Me: "I really miss the dog."
My 5-year-old: "Then you're really going to be sad when he's dead."
Thanks, kid.
Every time I see this pic, I think Strumpf has paid Melon for a parking lot handy-j.
I guess that says more about me.
I'll never forget when my kid was 3 years old, playing tea party while in the bathtub, looked up to me and asked, "Dada, what angle of tea would you like?"
The question lingers with me like absurdist poetry. Use of "Dada" also seems oddly appropriate.
The short stories are starting to come in for Rebound Press's anthology, CRIME FOR CHRISTMAS (12 short stories for 12 Days of Christmas by 12 of Canada's finest mystery authors). Man, are they ever good! The authors are bringing their A game to this one. Hope to have it ready for pre-orders in July.
Anyone else get super-excited for a sec when you see breaking news banner notifications from all the major agencies, and you think that maybe, just maybe, it happened?
Haha. I don't play guitar. But I took up sitar about 20 years ago, and that's when I truly started to appreciate the excellence of masterful string playing. Here is my teacher's teacher playing my favourite raag, if you're into classical Indian music. It's ok if you're not!

Right? Gives me so much hope.
Bugs me that so many people are incapable of appreciating the virtuoso nature of this performance.
Yeah, I was never a Tool fan: too dark and unmelodic. But I see the bass comparisons.
Not so much for King Gizzard, but for Angine de P, I see more Primus than Tool.

"The Challenge" is a Russian feature film about an astronaut surgeon.... that was actually filmed in space. And yet this trailer does not compel me to want to watch it.

Definitely some DNA there.
