I wouldn't be opposed to it at all if I could be convinced any other party than Republican or Democrat could actually get the win. Americans have a stigma around third parties. We need to push for ranked choice voting and kill the two party system with it. But that's a long fight too.

Trump gets in bed with the Chinese owners, and suddenly Tik Tok isn’t “evil CCP compromised” anymore. These people believe in nothing. What Trump decides today is what they believe in today. Which changes tomorrow if Trump makes a deal with someone else to enrich himself.

For me, apps like this are a great way to get a quick idea of the top news. Then I go find videos from creators I like talking about the topics I'm interested in on other platforms. TikTok with more steps.
