Ahhhh this is so special, so happy for you. π₯Ήπ
I had a great night out with @waywardhobbit.bsky.social in Chicago. We found a nice vegan restaurant in Boystown, and I ate some seitan for the first time. Delish! Thanks Carly for hanging out!!
Such a good time. Thanks so much for the lovely visit π₯Ήπ
Plate of rice, mixed veggie mash, and crumbled tofu on a white table with a glass of cola and a stickered water bottle behind it.
The luxury of the business class lounge: clearly labeled actually good vegan food.
Please tell all three people in these pictures that they are perfect for me, thank you. π

Very proud of turning a thrifted plain red jersey into this for my Heated Rivalry trivia. Repping my guy.
In the ongoing saga of making my best friendβs boyfriend watch Supernatural, we finished season 7 last night and I got this message this morning: βI had a dream last night about Dick Roman and also, can we talk about how Dick was killed by a Bone Shaft? Like COME ONNNNNN.β π

photo of two adorable wooly pigs looking at the camera person through a metal bar gate. One is black and white, the other is ginger with dark brown eye patches and snout.
Checking in with our new pigs Gus and Agnes! The vet saw them this week and while their body condition is poor, they are eating and drinking well so we're optimistic about their future. If you missed their complicated emergency rescue story you can read it here: www.patreon.com/posts/148954...
Super fair! I love the battle scenes, just because there are many character moments that make my heart ache and it seems like a work of art to me. As a whole itβs probably my least favourite of the 3 films but also has some of my favourite overall scenes. Itβs a tough one, I love them all so much.

The Two Towers ticket stubs, 24 years apart. I was a βyouthβ ticket then. π
Itβs just the best. π
I donβt know why I am saying all this other than I am in my feels about it and need to get it out somewhere. Anyway, LOTR is special and it will always be a big part of me. π
It was perfectly casted.
Perfectly scored. It holds up after 25 years because the practical effects are art. The sets and landscapes are stunning. The emotion and heart and depth of character in it is unmatched. I love it so so dearly and it is deeply engrained in my childhood and soul.
The Fellowship of the Ring is a masterpiece of a film. Itβs my favourite movie ever and getting to see the extended version in theatres was so special. I find words for it difficult, but even seeing it a hundred times I still get emotional and it leaves an ache in my chest.
Tonight I get to see Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen in its extended form and Iβm kinda emotional about it. π₯Ή

A promo image showing actor Sean Bean sitting on a bench in a park somewhere, doffing his cap with one hand and holding a cup of tea with the other. The caption reads: "GET BIRDING with Sean Bean - The UK's Leading Birdwatching Podcast"
I just learned that this exists and now I have to share it with you all because I don't even listen to podcasts, but just knowing that this is a thing has unironically increased my overall happiness and wellbeing:
