Join me over on Grindhouse Gospel today, as we talk about how Deep Rising sank a studio, feels like a test run for a bigger Stephen Sommers movie, and has morphed into one of the greatest creature features of the 90s!

It does have a video too! :p
Haha! Yeah, this one lulls you into a sort of false sense of security then just goes totally nuts at the end.
Thank you! I try to go off the beaten path when I can!
Olaf Ittenbach didn’t just direct The Burning Moon.
He also created many of the film’s insanely graphic special effects himself.
The result is one of the goriest shot-on-video movies ever made.

OMG! I always wanted that one!

You can pick up a pretty basic blu with Last Man Standing over on Amazon for like $8. Not the special edition this one deserves, but it's cheap. :-)
Hollywood paid $1.75 million for the script to The Last Boy Scout and then nearly destroyed the movie trying to “fix” it.
Ego wars. Rewrites. A chaotic production.
Somehow, it still became a cult classic.
Today, we break down this buddy cop movie with a mile-wide mean streak on Grindhouse Gospel
Thank you! Hope this helped pass the time!
Haha! yeah...
Haha!
It really is a mean, sleazy little film and I love it for that.
Lucio Fulci is the Godfather of Gore for a reason, but even some of his fans thought New York Ripper went too far.
Which is exactly why it's one of his best.
This might be the sleaziest movie Fulci ever made. I break it down in Sick Flicks: Volume 1!
