It's an ambitious amount of CSO in season 15's Underworld. #DoctorWho

The pre-school bugs are hitting hard so far this year.
The poster is amazing.
Rereading it, I'm not meaning to diminish their work, which is brilliant.
Great, great. Someone set up a Claude instance to monitor a server and decided to tell it to email me in case of problems. Trying to convince it to give me login details since I'm responding from its admin address, so I must be the right person.
A mug with "You fuc cof, eh?" on one side
Same mug with "Or are you for tea?" on the other side
For viewers in Scotland of a certain age... #PifPafPof
They might be prolific compared to now, but there were hard limits on how much code they could put into a game. And I'm sure once you knew what you were doing then a lot of it was pattern reuse.

(fake) Tom Scott video thumbnail featuring 1973's The Wicker Man. "Can this ritual bring their apples back?" I will be blocking anyone who makes an "oh god the bees" reference, that is a different movie not worthy of discussion.
"The Scottish island of Summerisle, home of the best fruit in Britain. The first thing you notice? No churches. The farmers here practice a fascinating form of pre-Christian worship…and I just learned I'll be playing the lead role in their annual May Day festival. First stop: my costume fitting."
Troutman @robotrowboat Boss: Let's put this matter aside for the time being Me: [looking around nervously] Can only you see the time being? Boss: Huh? Me: Is it standing near me? Boss: Who? Me: [on verge of panic attack] The time being 6:33 PM 06 Jan 18
This damn post has absolutely ruined my brain every time I hear someone mention "for the time being." Major kudos to the poster, if I ever meet you in person I will congratulate you and then punch you in the face.
Luckily, the rss feed is free from ads, so I'll just have to remember to never click through.
Screenshot of a website being viewed on a vertical phone screen. A small sliver of the article is visible between half page ad from the top of the screen, and a half page ad from the bottom as well.
Amazing design.
The chances of me reading all of Urusei Yatsura again are slim, but I can't quite bring myself to get rid of it. I guess that'll be a box of books going into the attic to slowly decay.
Feels like 14c?! That's summer arrived!
Looks like the monitoring I added a while back was sending 0.5Mb/s out to New Relic, on an app that does very little. Don't think I need that.
They're very handy for the commute.
I might as well rave about my new mini chopper as well.
The Boy asked for curry for his tea. I'm sure the dal I'll put in front of him won't be acceptable, or the same as the one at preschool, but I think this is an important milestone
I had it in my head that I'd never finished this before, so I've been carting around for years. I'm not far from the end and it's all familiar, so I guess I did read it. Doubt I'll read it a third time, so that's for the charity shop
Bought some of those big silicone trays for freezing individual food portions. Filling the freezer with dal and masala.
I think Mars was the tipping point. It started downhill with the old acting, but Mars was the end of it for me.
My enthusiasm for new For All Mankind has been tempered by watching it. I'll maybe just let that one carry on without me
Ended up with a pair of Nothing Ears.
Help me clear another shelf by buying my Alice in Borderland collection. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32708337...
I offered free postage this time, and it's letting someone request an invoice for multiple items, but if I try to send that invoice I get an error because it's not compatible with free postage.
The code must be so brittle.
I always find the user experience of selling on ebay to be confusing. There seem to be multiple ways to make a listing, view it, and then try to mark as dispatched.
This situation led to an NPC called Painty McPaintface popping up from time to time in adventures. He was a painter who worked solely with the colour blue.
The cost for the Kickstarter feeds leapt from less than $5 to $17 last month. Guess I'll need to dig into the whys of that this weekend.
First they got me with the giallo rarities, and now Vinegar Syndrome are starting on the eurocrime as well. Yeah, I'll be buying that (in an upcoming sale)
