One amazing feature of Web3 is that it never died.

Instead it never took off at all. Because anyone who thought about it for minute realized that all aspects of it was shit wrapped in flaming dog hair.

Almost half of EU’s busiest flight routes are ‘hard or impossible’ to book on trains – report ‘Stone age’ system of booking cross-border rail tickets holding back climate action by consumers, says thinktank

I use this as a good illustration of the importance of APIs and standardization.

Flights, hotels, and rental cars have them, as can be seen on any travel site.

Come on EU. Invest in this.

Skatta skiten ur Google & Meta som suger musten ur vår fria press. Skriv in folks rätt att laga sina prylar i grundlagen.

Thank you for sharing. I listened to a podcast where these old ball games were mentioned briefly in relation to commons and commoning, and I couldn't make sense of what he meant. Now I do

Uppies and Downies, the medieval football game that has no rules and no time limit (Gift Article) In a town in the north of England, hundreds gather each year to take part in a no-rules mass football game

"There are no rules"

<article proceeds to describe rules, including the need to throw the ball three times in the air at the opposing goal>

It really is something that when an established game with conventions and rules is seen as totally lawless just because mass sport has been over-regulated.

Sounds like The Martian, which I thought was much better as a movie because they cut back on the number of plot devices AND the tiresome build up to said plot devices.

I complete screwed up my son's front break a month ago, but now it's working again. And I know how to fix in the future.

Brilliant.

All left over books are going to second hand stores.

I went to a large book swap yesterday.

First you handed in up to 10 books, and got a ticket for each.

An hour later you could go back and exchange one ticket for any book.

I screwed up and there was a huge line, so I was basically the last one to pick books.
