I’m gonna guess Yaxel Lendeborg and AJ Dybantsa both wear something crazy. Good or bad crazy is yet to be seen.

Acuff is the worst defender that’ll be selected r1, and I don’t think the offense is quite elite enough to make up for it.
Literally all of tier 2. I try to keep tiers around the same value every year, and last year tier 2 was Kon and CMB at 4 and 5 (and Jase Richardson 6 but I still believe).
The NCAA tournament starts this week, no better time to release a board update! Happy to answer any questions, tiers are in order!
Happy holidays, everybody! I'm super excited to share my first board of the 2026 draft cycle with you all today! Tiers are in order (except tier 4), and I am happy to answer any questions you may have!
Robinson’s 6’3, 6’7 WS. Small-ish. Boogie’s very much a “Cal guards shrug” inclusion. And honestly I dropped Braden Smith & Tahaad Pettiford a tier largely b/c of their size scaring me
Demin has a 44 EFG against the top 220 teams on barttorvik. I do not believe he will be able to score at all against NBA defenses, unfortunately, he’s a really cool player. And I would be comfortable playing every guard until Fears next to another guard
just the Ace/McNeeley spots or something else?
It's March! Conference tournaments have started, and it's time for another board update. As always, the tiers are in order, and any feedback/questions are completely welcomed.
what in the hell
what makes you put xaivian lee that far ahead of javon small and bennett stirtz
Happy holidays! My gift to you all today is my first board on the 2025 NBA Draft cycle! Please give me any feedback or ask any questions you may have!
i dont necessarily mean haaland’s the bar, i mean i need to see havertz sustain a haaland-esque for a long time to believe it’s real
the logic *was* that the number i was remembering is a number that doesnt happen at all over larger samples and thus the overall output has to be curved down obviously new information changes things (also i would frankly like to see him do even haaland xg/shot for a bigger sample)
maybe i’m misremembering the number i saw like something approaching .3 a few weeks ago
i know that conceptually high xg/shot is good and indicative of those things, but i’m saying the radar from this period benefits from it being at a level higher than even he can sustain, even in this team
right, but this includes the midfield minutes, it gets above haaland territory outside that if i am not mistaken
he has good xg/shot his whole career, it’s higher than usual for this period
i think that ~1000 minutes of this with his history and that high of xg/shot is not at all enough to justify not signing any 1st choice attackers this summer. even if you love him, get a winger
He ended last season on a hot finishing stretch. And this is not good enough xG+xA/90 from CF in a team this good in my opinion.
Havertz being considered the first choice striker because of a well-timed purple patch is, in itself, bad process
(or any other individual at any other point)
That Rice number is also an overpay honestly. And, again, the biggest issue is that in 2 years as a team attempting to challenge for 4 trophies, we have signed zero first choice attackers intentionally, and that is bad process, regardless of the ways you can talk yourself out of Osimhen in 2024
i enjoy watching the game as it exists but the corner three is also probably too valuable from a game design standpoint
If the squad survived Rice making that #, it can handle Osimhen. This is the player quality disagreement I referred to earlier. He’s one of the 5 best living CFs, if the options are a bad deal for Osimhen or another year of Havertz, take the bad deal. If the Sun numbers are true I retract though.
the numbers i saw (the sun notwithstanding) were similar to what rice makes.
this is the first time i have thought about int’l players as a way to solve the closed system problem i am so dumb
ehhhhh you could probably move the line
but there’s a strong positional value argument against doing that if he’s going to be the only huge swing.)
Osimhen wants, like, a mild overpay for a superstar CF. It’s an overpay, no doubt, but we have reached a point in the process where it is time to take a risk to add a superhero. And this is a paths not traveled thing too, the Rice money could have been a ton of things (not complaining about Rice
Mostly yes? Soccer’s talent concentration makes me believe incredibly strongly that you kind of have to try to squeeze every drop you can out
