Some science and technology today
New year started like this.
The Moon.
The Devil.
King of Swords.
Located only 8,000 light years away, the Wizard nebula, featured here, surrounds developing open star cluster NGC 7380. Visually, the interplay of stars, gas, and dust has created a shape that appears to some like a fictional medieval sorcerer. The active star-forming region spans 100 about light years, making it appear larger than the angular extent of the Moon. The Wizard Nebula can be located with a small telescope toward the constellation of the King of Aethiopia (Cepheus). Although the nebula may last only a few million years, some of the stars being formed may outlive our Sun.

Una donna ha raccontato di essere stata portata in uno di questi centri dopo aver denunciato alla polizia che il padre e i fratelli avevano abusato di lei e l’avevano accusata di disonorare la famiglia per aver pubblicato sui social un post sui diritti delle donne

Properly staggering! 😮😱
The Spaghetti Nebula is a unique nebula located around 3,000 light-years from Earth.
Also known as Simeis 147, this striking nebula displays twisting filaments that take the shape of a plate of spaghetti. It also includes a powerful pulsar hidden within.
Magnificent! 🍝

Non benissimo. Conferma che siamo degli idioti.
Foxes are incredible creatures—playful, intelligent, and vital to our ecosystems. They deserve to thrive in the wild, free from fear and cruelty. 🦊
Killing them for sport is barbaric and senseless. Let’s protect their joy and beauty.
Weirdly-colored image of Jupiter on a black background. The Hubble data were taken at ultraviolet wavelengths, hence the planet is shown in false colors, with bands of pale blue, white, and lavender. The Great Red Spot appears as a dark royal blue spot. The southern pole is swathed in haze colored dark orange and crimson colors, with a reddish oval vortex visible. Hubble Jupiter images in the UV suggest polar hazes are stirred by a vortex created by mag field interactions with the ionosphere and Jupiter's moon Io! A cool new UV view of this giant planet (image credit: T. Tsubota & M. Wong, UC Berkeley) See links in next comment for details . . .
Pictures of a celadon ceramic cup with a Korean wooden spoon, and a tea bag of gastrodia elata blume, also useful for stomach ache
Bought in South Korea along with jujube and omija tea, the lady at the store told me that it helps with stomach pain, when you are feeling unwell. It is very good, tastes (to me) like sweetened soy milk with pieces of cereal flakes
