A bittersweet couple of days as I watch my oldest play in his final minor hockey games. The last 14 years have gone in a blink. If you have littles, slow down and breathe in all the moments. They are fleeting. So proud of the young man he’s become. 💗🏒

My grading philosophy is that specific feedback is more important than a number. Having a student understand what they are doing well and what they need to work on is more beneficial than a number on top of a page. Often kids will look at the number but not reflect on what it means. #ungrading
