A new study from @mmfa.bsky.social reaches the obvious conclusion: "The right dominates the online media ecosystem, seeping into sports, comedy, and other supposedly nonpolitical spaces"
This is, IMO, the single greatest threat to the left in the US, and the one to which it is most blind.

Her story has shaken up metro Detroit. It's very cold up here and she didn't get the help she needed even after calling the city and multiple agencies.
She, her mom, and her kids slept in a van. Ran out of gas.
Her 9 year old & 2 year old died from hypothermia.

Always surprised how many folk on social media are unaware that highly visible women online regularly get threatened w/ rape and other violence. Happens to every woman w/ a substantial following I know, has for a decade regardless of platform. And no, authorities don’t care and that’s no solution.
Literally same. One of the most frustrating constituent issues we’ve worked on for sure.
