A Happy Haunted October! @everyone Howdy folks! First off, happy second day of the month of Halloween! This is a favorite holiday for a lot of us, and I am hoping to set up some seasonal events (mostly movies, but may try to do some multiplayer horror co-op, we'll see) soon, so keep an eye on the Events tab at the top! Moving on to another issue, some of you may have seen my post on Twitter about this month & the very common use of a certain word. I want to state that this is something I am wanting to work on myself, but also within the space of this Discord, the expectation is to leave that word behind. If you want to continue using it outside this space, that is your personal decision. An article from NPR about the word's problematic history can be found here. If you feel like this is an unfair/difficult request, l ask that you do a little internal digging. We have always stated that this Discord is meant to be a safe space & we are striving to better ourselves. "But it doesn't affect me (1) or people I know (2)!" 1. Are you someone who holds identities this word was used to describe? 2. Consider that if you are from a standpoint of privilege, people that are bothered by it may not mention anything out of fear of being called out. "But no one uses that term anymore!" There are many words that are not common vernacular anymore that still have negative connotations. If it doesn't belong to your culture, it's not your place to reclaim the word. "I don't know how else to describe it!" Creepy, eerie, weird, terrifying, mysterious, ghostly, uncanny, chilling, frightening, hair- raising, scary, ghastly, supernatural, alarming, ghoulish, macabre, spine-chilling, unnerving, & more options. ... TLDR; We are moving on from using the word sp//ky in this Discord. Please use alternatives. Thank you and have a blessed Samhain & season!

A bust shot of Lia smiling in their office wear outfit which consists of a casual green barong top and a big brown cardigan. The lines are soft, sketchy, and not cleaned up. It is a digital art piece but the coloring style mimics the washed out look of traditional watercolors.
I'll post a more recent drawing of Lia, too! Before house hunting, I wanted to pursue a looser, messier art style because clean lineart takes me a painfully long time and it wasn't really fun for me anymore.
