This is the first thing I thought of.

This is a great point.
We should be the most attractive organization for coaching prospects, but with this presser of finger-pointing and scapegoating, we've been taken down a few notches instead. All they needed was some transparency and ownership for bad decisions.
They couldn't even do that.
I feel like this is the math central to the decision.
Josh's window isn't perpetual - let's get that Lombardi while we can.
It's certainly a lot to process. 🫨
Posted this on the other site last night when I couldn’t sleep. Might as well post it here too:
We've missed you after our mass exodus, Del! Thanks for visiting - stay for a bit, I think we have cookies left!
Screengrab of FB post from Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Deon Dawkins with the text “Something gotta change,” above a photo of Buffalo Bills receiver Brandin Cooks lying on the ground in his blue pants and white jersey, clearly down and in possession of the football he has just caught, while a Denver Broncos player in white pants and orange jersey leans over him to try to get the ball away
Fuck those referees
The officials called a pair of game-deciding DPI fouls against the Bills in overtime. If the same standard had been applied late in regulation, when Riley Moss apparently interfered with Brandin Cooks, the Bills may have won.

Not just inconsistent, but I would argue biased.
Inconsistent would mean each team sees roughly the same amount of these arbitrarily odd calls in either direction.
Instead, they largely go AGAINST us, game after game, year after year.
Officiating HAS to improve or fans will give up watching.
If it’s an INT because Cooks didn’t “survive the ground,” then the Mims TD isn’t a TD. If it’s DPI on Tre then it’s DPI on the DB on Cooks in the endzone. The only thing the NFL is ever good at is being horribly inconsistent/incompetent in the biggest moments. #BillsMafia
Was it worth it NFL? You could have called in to overturn the incorrect call but thought it would be cute to let the Broncos have it. Well now what?
Thankfully, refs and New York and "every rules lawyer" never make mistakes then double down on their decisions, only to be roasted by the professional football analysts all week long afterward.
Good that never happens.
The ball was held tightly to his chest - even while rolling.
So what, in your view, keeps the play alive even though HE has the ball, is on the ground, and was touched by the defender BEFORE he began to pull it away?
He was down. Sorry.
But he always touched while down.
The play doesn't extend so the defender can just take the possession away after being down by contact.
He cannot fulfill item C because he is down by contact.
This is true for any tackled receiver.
Really?
So at what precise moment was the receiver down?
He caught the ball, knee on the ground, and was touched by a defender while still holding the ball.
It's done there. That's the method used to spot the ball even.
Stripping the ball after isn't an INT.
a clear catch by bills wr branden cooks that was somehow called an interception ultimately costing the bills their season
this was ruled an interception
Last rant but how wasn’t this a catch? I’m so angry and wonder what’s the point of the refs are just going to decide the game.
Well he's right.
That receiver was down, with "firm possession" of the ball.
Stripping it from him after he was touched should NEVER be a turnover - think of all the games that could change.
The only way this season could've ended more badly is if Josh ruined his knee during the game.
So that's one win, I suppose.
All I ever wanted from the NFL was a fairly officiated playoff game. Just that one simple thing.
Maybe one day. 😔
Great win by NFL officiating. Really earned that win. Well done.
50% of the flags called the entire game were on the Bills' defense during the last DEN drive.
Same here.
I'm listing this right under the illegal forward pass in the Music City Miracle.
How much do y'all figure the refs made on their bets in this game.
The calls in this game were inexcusably atrocious - particularly on the contested catch. That receiver was down with clear possession of the ball. Wrestling it away afterward isn't a "catch" by the defender. What a fucking joke.
