2. If anything, the biggest weakness of Pitt S2 is the opposite of their complaints: things connecting too neatly. It's approaching unbelievability that on this particular day, SO many things connect back to one day 10 months earlier (the deposition, Whitaker's girlfriend, Langdon's return, etc.)

Couple thoughts about this:

1. The viewers quoted in this have been trained by a couple decades of season-arc prestige TV that EVERYTHING has to be explained, even when it definitely does it. Barry Allen's bowties all over the place in both movies and TV of recent years.
