Just one story out of many: Base Set Wartortle. Not just any Wartortle, but this one with an evo icon error. I was cataloging all the PTCG error cards & found this on a trip to Wisconsin in 2002; I didn't even know it existed! The trip itself was fun (long story!) & finding this was the capstone.

I rediscovered this Japanese Pokémon guide book I got back in 2011 covering BW, Rumble Blast, Pokédex 3D, and other stuff. There's even a color chart I can add to the Colordex (Dragon is BROWN?!) ... I should probably get this thing scanned! #Pokemon
