I also think this is low hanging fruit seeing as the person being written about is extremely private & offline. Like very unlikely to respond. And very easy for the internet to run with and twist for a headline in the same way her own words have been twisted and used against her her entire career.
To expand on this… I’ve been completely spoiled by the indulgent longfic slow burn that trad pub fantasy novels feel so unearned at this point. Insta-lust/love is nothing less than jarring after waiting 200k words for a first kiss.
I would not enjoy if someone wrote a memoir about who I was in my twenties before my frontal cortex was fully formed. Just for me personally that would be a nightmare.
I think it’s obsession.
Ao3 made me a speed reader. Inhaling fanfiction like oxygen did that. Still, it’s some sort of witchcraft that I can plow through a 700k word fic in a quarter of the time it would take me to read the published/physical equivalent. Magic.
He’s a great actor but this decision will come back to bite him.
Listening to Lithgow on fresh air talking about playing roald dahl in a play that explores the author’s inexcusable antisemitism. The pure cognitive dissonance of a man willing to work with JKR and sign on to play Dumbledore. You’re either for human rights or you’re not. You can’t have it both ways.

Not sure how many of you have seen Adolescence but I’m pretty sure Rabbit, Rabbit is gonna be sweet. Not sure if they’ll do the same filming style but each episode of that show was filmed in a single shot á la Birdman. I imagine it’s gonna be super gritty.

I like to think I would’ve had the will power to avoid the new HP series regardless but that trailer has honestly made my life so much easier. It looks genuinely terrible. Not a hint of magic to be found.

I started PT for a calf strain that won’t go away. Turns out strength training just gets more important for aging runners. Who would’ve thought 😆. Ran my race after several weeks off. It was rough but I definitely feel like my story is preventable. I’ll do better for the next one 😅
