It is absolutely heartbreaking that Bristol Blue Glass is having to shut its doors due to being priced out of trading.

How many more small businesses have to close for this Labour Government to recognise its failures and step in?

Well done Team GB on the silver medal in curling. Interesting to see that the IOC member presenting the medals was Hugh Robertson, who when he was a DCMS minister I worked with closely for the Liberal Democrat side of the Coalition on the Same Sex Marriage legislation.

Openreach (part of the BT Group) is responsible for removing graffiti from their green street cabinets. There are several cabinets on King’s Road in Brislington West that are looking very grotty so I’ve been in touch with the utility company and asked them to give them a lick of paint!

Hundreds of thousands of patients are waiting agonisingly long hours in A&E for the care they need.

It’s completely disgraceful, and this Government should hang their heads in shame.

However, it's crucial that the money raised is not kept in the Mayor's coffers. It must be spent in our local communities to make Bristol a better place to visit and live.
