Let's not forget that amazing Merseyside derby on 16 April 2001 when Gary McAllister won us the game in the stoppage time, scoring from a 44-yards-out free kick! It was Liverpool's first win at Goodison for 11 years. Emile Heskey and Markus Babbel also scored for the Reds earlier in the game.
That's what you call a great first half! Liverpool FC won 4-0 and scored all four goals withing the first 45 minutes when they hosted Manchester City at Anfield on this day in 1974.
However, it was the only win in the last 8 league games of the season and it was Leeds United who claimed the title.

The real Iron Lady.
Anne Williams sacrificed years of her life to fight for the truth. A strong, brave and clever women gave it all for the Hillsborough families.
Anne was a true hero for the entire community. May she rest in peace.
To all those, who lost their lives in a Hillsborough disaster. To all those who went to see their heroes play a game of football and never returned home. To all those, who should be still with us, but they are not.
Rest in peace. We'll never forget.
We watched one of the first Jurgen Klopp's miracles as a Liverpool FC manager on 14 April 2016. Being 3-1 down after an hour mark, the Reds needed 3 goals to beat Borussia Dortmund and advance to the Europa League semifinals.
They did it.
Fun fact: Jimmy Melia and Billy Liddell are occupying every spot between 4th and 17th.
A bit inspired by @michael_reid11, we have compiled a list of top 50 matches with the largest age difference between two Liverpool scorers. Salah and Rio are sitting 2nd. A pair of LFC heroes on top of that list.

On this day in 1988...
Can you guess the opposition and final result?
Feliz cumpleaños! 🎉

Some tough goodbyes this summer... Two bona fide LFC legends!
Tom Cooper born on 9 April 1905, joined LFC at 29, having 15 caps for England. "Snowball" was captain for Liverpool in 106 games. Cooper's story has a sad ending as the then Sergeant in the King's Regiment Liverpool died in a motorcycle accident on 25 June 1940.
The legend that is Robbie Fowler was born in Toxteth on 9 April 1975. God needs no introduction. The best finisher of his generation. Happy birthday! We still owe you a snowball fight!
