π£ New research by us and @cleancitiescampaign.org shows families can save thousands a year by ditching their car for an electric #cargobike.
βIt's way cheaper and faster than a car, and our favourite way to get all three kids around London," says family cargo e-bike convert Dr Chris Van Tulleken.

The Meole Brace/Otley Rd r'about had the ickle flags too. St. George's Day is tomorrow tho, right?
I wonder if they're being "put up" overnight by folk wearing face coverings. If they're so proud why not in the middle of the day?
I swear if we just rejoined the EU without telling anyone the Brexiteers A: wouldn't notice and also B: think it's brilliant they can now travel easier, stay abroad longer, see their weekly shop bill come down. We should just Rejoin and not tell them and I bet they'd love it #Rejoin
It worries me that it's FB that seems to be influencing the older uses of the site more. The "life in the 1960s" style posts that give a view that life was better then.
I enjoyed this and the benefits of cycling. My Mum has just had a new hip (at 84) and whilst a very slow recovery at the start is making clear daily progress. She's never cycled tho, I think you will have a big head start on your recovery with that. Good luck.
How many of the folk complaining here actually voted directly for it via Brexit? #Rejoin

This is so well done. π
What's the Millennium Point timetable? I've missed that
That parking really does grind my gears π€¨
I still use an iPod Nano! Works in the car via a cable and through a docking station in kitchen stereo!
You've seen the Andy Twelves interview where he rips the book to shreds in front of Matt Goodwin for its inaccuracy? Worth a watch if not.
Tbf, I'm still not sure the best way to right at the lights by the station on a bike? The cycle traffic signals would certainly help!
And I see how well the cycle lane is protected from the road under bridge. And yes, all traffic queued all the back from the traffic lights.
And there were indeed those "divots" on the edges of the pavements!!
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:
Question from a neighbour's 10yo walking with us to school this morning... why don't we get potholes on the pavements?
Pretty difficult to refute a single thing in this perfect assessment of where the f**k we are, from @iandunt.bsky.social:
Wow! That's an outrageous piece of driving to still get stuck at the traffic lights ahead. "I knocked someone over but got to red light 8 seconds quicker"
So presumably this Daily Mail campaign against "foreign-born" voters will quickly be applied to their foreign-born star columnist, Boris Johnson, and their own France-based for tax purposes non-dom owner?
Yes! Was always much better to have a step-through with a child seat on the back of mine. Was always worried I'd bash the child seat with my leg otherwise!
What's going on there? That's especially bad! I love though the community-placed chairs chained to the bus stop!
Yes, exactly this. It's the entitlement on top of everything else that does my head in
I'm in politics for people like my Dad.
His dad who was Finance Director at the English Electric Cooker Company and Managing Director of Cannon Industries?
His dad, whose startup company went on to turnover millions and who privately educated his son?
And states Brexit has cost the area reducing the EU funding but residents now want to vote to Farage to sort it out
They are not the shadow cabinet whatever they say
Love the spirit of these Brummie residents. I'm concerned by pubs in Shrewsbury displaying SG flags which to me now says who's welcome and who's not. I won't be going in for a pint if there's a SG flag flown outside.
This is a very good point and made no where enough by those of us who cycle daily. Cycle manufacturers and retailers should use this more as an advantage of 2 wheels over 4.
That's a great outcome! My 12yo is struggling with the retainer and worries about the in/out and school lunch
Every time! Or, take wet weather gear off at work, cycle home in the dry and then realise wet weather gear is still at work in the morning when it's raining
