These are two different species of frog, both belonging to the Ameerega species. The one with yellow (left) is the Ecuador Poison Frog while the other is a Ruby Poison Frog. #herps
The Genus of the Amazon Coastal House Snake is Thamnodynastes which loosely translates to 'shrub ruler'. Three were found one night in a grassy thicket near Orán, Peru.

If you look closely, one bird is bigger, has a thicker bill, and a red eye. This makes is a Bronzed Cowbird. It was seen a large flock of Brown-headed Cowbirds near a cattle field. #birds
What a way to kick off the new year! Four snow geese, including a blue phase and juvenile, and a Ross's Goose!! These were seen flying over a pasture in north central Florida. #birds
This Eared Grebe, a rare winter visitor, was observed on a deep lake in North Central Florida. #birds

There's a blue phase Snow Goose hanging around a retention pond next to a TJ Maxx in Florida. I saw an elderly lady tossing food to the ducks and the goose came and ate some allowing for a great photo opportunity. #birds
