My next door neighbour feeds the birds, who drop things on the ground and bring rats - which he then puts rat poison out for.
I put something out for the birds the other day (I don’t normally) and I saw a rat come and take it.
I was pleased for the rat 🐀

I read something by Charles Eisenstein a few years ago on the disappearance of the Monarch butterfly. It was very touching & sad, but it made me realise I wasn’t going crazy when I talked abt the disappearance of insects in my village.

I remember reading (but can’t recall where) about all the feminine knowledge that was lost in the witch hunts…
All that awareness and wisdom and insight that would have been passed down from mother to daughter..
