"I'm not saying it's without risk. They'll be after you as soon as we take off, probably put a bounty on your heads. We'll be wanted criminals. Then there's the trip itself. I don't know where he went. I don't know what we'll find." Aen grunted softly. "We could end up scattered across the void." The harsh voice held no apology. "Or lost forever in the underverse. Or we could simply overload the drive and explode." A muffled voice howled from the background on the com, but she couldn't make out the words. Itorak barked in answer. "Well then make sure it doesn't!" He muttered to himself about crazy cats and sighed. "All I ask is that you try. And I'll do my best to keep everyone off your backs. And if we succeed... I'l set you up someplace sate to live out the rest of your lives."
