Happy Birthday, Rickey Henderson
(b. 12/25/1958)
As a holiday treat, the backstory on the song title…
The original jam that became this song was labeled “Track 24” on the recordings. There are probably other notable athletes to wear that number, but for us, the list starts and ends with Rickey.

Some pics from our show Saturday night at Noisemakers in #DTSP. Thanks to everyone who came out. We love you all! Until next time...
We're getting excited! Only two more days until our Saturday Night show at NoiseMakers in #DTSP. Here's another "From The Archives" clip, a fiery "Nebula" from our last Noisemakers appearance in March of this year.
It's show week! We hope to see you out at NoiseMakers, Inc. on Saturday Night. To get everyone in the mood, here's a lovely take on "New Year's Eve" from the last time we played Noisemakers back in March.
ICYMI: We're playing Noisemakers in #DTSP's super-cool warehouse Arts District on Sat., Dec. 6. Please join us! (Event Link: www.facebook.com/share/19tCve...)
And now, back to our semi-regular "From The Archives" posting: A tight version of FC Machine from our "Picnic in the Park" in Feb. of 2024.
Come see us do a thing! Dec. 6 in DTSP...
Today's From The Archives is "Time Traveler" performed at a backyard birthday party for our good friend Steve. This is from April 1, 2017. Video quality = not great. The performance is fun, though. 😅 youtu.be/jj4zHH8Ibds?...
Today's "From The Archives" goes back to almost the very beginning of the band. We'd been a group for just over a year when we played this gig at the now-defunct Iberian Rooster in DTSP. The song is one of my early faves (we never play it anymore), and we've been chasing these visuals ever since...
Show announcement STILL coming soon - but feel free to pencil us in for Dec. 6 at a site that has yet to be named. (We know where it is!) In the meantime, here's more video "From The Archives," this time going back to July 2018 (when we were still a four-piece without a bass player). More to come...
We concur with the inclusion of "Sussudio" on the list of worst songs of all time. Thank you for your attention in this matter...
Save the Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025. Zerobabies live in DTSP! More details coming soon...
Show announcement coming soon! This week, we're posting clips from the archives, starting with this run through "Ceddy's Song" at Flying Boat Brewery (which no longer exists). We were still a six-piece then, but parted ways with the sax because it was an awkward fit. Ryan the sax player is awesome!
How's your December shaping up? We've got some plans...
The closer from our most recent show…

There are many artists we love and cover (or attempt to cover) at band practice, but there’s only one artist we’ve ever covered live in front of people. Thank you for the extraordinary music lesson you gave us all! 🙏🤘🎸
Happy Easter and last day of Passover! Or just Happy Sunday if you're so inclined. We're celebrating this holiday weekend with a new video, "Game Show>Consolation Prize" from our March 22 gig at NoiseMakers, Inc. More to come...
More video from the March 22 show. This is “7%” written by our awesome keyboard player, Mike Pave. Enjoy!
