"It is only fair because. . . . well.
I am not from Thedas.
So. . . . yeah."
"I cannot speak on behalf of the elves of Thedas."
a brief pause.
". . . . you know what? I've said too much. ignore me."
"That. . . . that's not even remotely true?"
do you think that just because someone is an elf that they are automatically on your side?

She explained that she already had proficient skills with more than one type of weapon, and that she already has a few monster slayings of her own under her belt. He finally agreed to take her to Kaer Morhen where he began training her to become like a witcher.
She sought him out and approached him to ask him to teach her to be like him.
She wanted to do something with herself, something that she had a chance of being good at. He was hesitant at first. She had to convince him that it was what she truly wanted. She ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐ this.
She needed to find the witcher she had heard so much from every city she passed through.
Just before she was due to set back out on the road, she had overheard some of the other elves mentioning that Geralt was there, in Dol Blathanna.
So she kept her head down and made her way out of the city, heading east. She kept her ears covered, both with her hair and with the hood of her robes. She managed to find herself in Upper Posada, where she gathered her strength before intending to set back out on the road.
The second thing she realized was that the folk did not take too kindly to her upon seeing her pointed ears. It was apparent that she, as an elf, would not be welcomed in many places. She saw firsthand how the folk treated other elves, and she knew she had to get away.
She was surrounded by mountains, ones she wasn't familiar with, with nothing to protect her, save for the sword secured at her waist.
Upon finding civilization, she realized two very important things, the first being that she was no longer on Arda.
She wasn't sure where she was, only that it was freezing cold and she had nothing but her elven robes to keep her warm. She had never needed anything more than her robes to keep her warm in Middle Earth.
It was glittering blue and it seemed to call to her, almost like when Valinor called for the elves to return and who was she to resist the calls of a higher being?
So she stepped through the portal.... and it immediately closed behind her.
It had the voice in her head telling her to investigate, figure out what was making that noise.
She stumbled upon the source of the noise, unsure what she was looking at. To her, it looked like a hole in reality.
It was late at night in Eryn Lasgalen. Rilya was on her way back from the training grounds when she heard a soft wooshing noise coming from the gardens. This was a noise she wasn't familiar with. It was something new. Something she hadn't ever heard within her 8000+ years living.

more details to come whenever I decide to go through timelines to figure out when she landed in Treviso.
For Dragon Age (mainly Veilguard), Rilya takes on the role of Rook. Everything is still the same for her regarding her past and headcanons. She is an Antivan Crow with a Rogue class build.
