I know it's been chaotic lately but it bears repeating:
Jeffrey Epstein did not act alone.
Arrest them all.

HAHAHA! That response killed me. And it's so damn true.
"They went door-to-door to tell their neighbors what the city had not told them: The data center would use twice as much electricity as all of Monterey Park."
The city’s notification in English reached only 40 people living within 500 feet. Activists worked in English, Chinese, Spanish & more!
Maybe it's just me but I don't think Jeffrey Epstein's clients should be the ones to decide if Jeffrey Epstein's clients should be prosecuted.

Oh yeah it’s GAYYYYYYY so
#nowreading “Cosmic Love at the Multiverse Hair Salon” by Annie Mare so far, I really enjoy this book. I have some very nit picky sensitivity reader comments, but I absolutely love this sci fi romance lol
Oh my god
“I used AI to combine the data from two excel lists and then send emails to people who were on one list but not another. Saved me so much time.”
My brother in academia, you just fucking discovered mail merge. Welcome to early nineties computing.
using monte carlo search to examine the models of a deep neural net is not an LLM. Calling them both "AI" and pretending that one demonstrates the value is the other is straightforwardly dishonest
Yesterday was fun day; today is chore day. 😭
Here
UMAI!
Lmao not you roasting yourself 😂
Instead of change, they’ll invent a new scheme.
Thank you for writing it. It was a very heavy read, I cried a lot while reading it.
Humans are not part of shark diet and sharks do not hunt humans
Most shark bites are cases of mistaken identity—where swimmers or surfers resemble seals or fish
Yet Hollywood has never made one movie telling the true nature of sharks
Spielberg made millions for portraying sharks as monsters
And of course, I don’t believe working is a requirement for housing. All humans should have a safe clean place to call home period. But this book is specifically about people who can’t rent a traditional apartment due to some stupid technicality AND are working.
And then of course, the small details of life that a family takes for granted: a freezer, a fridge, a stove to cook on, a home free of mold. A private space to sleep. Thousands of children live like this with parents who are working. They leave the motel and go work all day with no way out.
And as such, you are on a hamster wheel of pain and instability that you never get off of. People can’t track you, you can’t afford to save making monthly motel/extended stay rents, and then at any point in time, you can be kicked out. As motels don’t have ANY protections for people staying there.
It is about people working & navigating homelessness, but also explores the way the system completely neglects people’s needs. You’re working, you aren’t eligible for specific services, if you have a son over 13, you aren’t eligible for services, you stay in motels? You aren’t eligible for services
5 star read about homelessness in America, where people are between the “true” accepted definition of homeless and the predatory, very expensive, unhealthy and unstable world of staying long term in motels. And how easy and then quickly destabilizing it is to find yourself homeless. #nowreading
This is a harrowing, deeply thoughtful and necessary book.
Fossil Fuels Are Not The Future….
We all known A*azon tends to sell books bellow list prices, but I've recently found them selling books at below WHOLESALE prices. I know this because I own a store. That's fucked up.
Anyways, support your local book stores. Shit's tough.
I can’t get a physical copy of Tomodachi Life in 50 miles of where I live? Why? Why do they do this? Smh
I actually don’t understand the expectation that I will be generous with people who are condescending to me
I am not a perpetual motion machine. I have finite energy. Why would I waste it on that
People should read.
I'm tired of people not reading.
Please, if you can, PLEASE, read! Read everything, but especially fiction! Read comics!
It will help you with empathy AND make you smarter.
Please, read.
